I just had a weekend... I think.
Not to mention the last time last semester that I posted. Yeah, its been an entire, computer-frying, busy summer. Indeed, my computer is fryed and I have passed its posthumous parts to my brother in Louisville to see if he can revive them. I went to about three camps this summer, two of which were boy scout camps, the other being FFA camp. I am also going to do my eagle scout project soon, which adds to the stress of keeping a 3.5-ish GPA. Last weekedn my brother was in, and we talked and played guitar (something I rarely have time for anymore), and tinked on the computer. He slept. We stayed up late. The usual. And school is started and for any Princetonians- I know there are some out there- you know the extra challenge that has beset me. Oh well, I have to study for a math test.
until next time,

Well boys, it's been awhile.
But finals are a stressful time, and that is the time that is now. The weekend before last, I went to the races in calvert city and had fun. I went over to nicks house and then reese came over to my house the night after. Both nights I did the geek thing and went to see Episode II. Amidala was really hot. But aside from that, the movie was good anyway. I saw it twice, and it was good both times. I might go to see it again. Because, it was good. I guess you can't just go on Episode I. After then, I have just studied for all the free time I have that I am not at a Baseball game.
Peace out Javan

Well, yesterday was the FFA banquet. I said the creed, God have mercy, messed up. But I handled it OK, and it wasn't too bad. But I did get the outstanding leadership award, and my friend got Star Greenhand. I got first in creed and a Chapter team plaque.
There were no tornados this morning, either. I don't have anything (whew!) to do this afternoon so I will probably go to the movies or something. On saturday I will plant my garden, mow the grass, and do other assorted tasks. Man, I sure like this better than actually doing work at school.

hey
its thursday
Well, yesterday was a bummer. Get up in utter confusion, very tired. Go to school, and it just gets worse. I have a school project that really needs work and baseball practice after school. So I finally figured that out and had a pretty good day for a few hours when i went to math class and got assighned 50 hard math problems. Then I have a bad baseball practice, but nick and I get some stuff done on our project. And it didn't get better this morning. I wake up at 5 o clock in the morning to torrrential winds that sound like a tornado headed right for the homestead. So I lay in bed with torrential winds blowing and listening to mom get scared. But today it has been all good i reckon. There is a FFA banquet tonihgt and I will get some awards (one is first in Creed Speaking)
Tuesday night was regional FFA banquet where i got an award for getting a superior in creed speaking and a chapter award for being on the parly pro team. Das about it.
Its all good javan

yo yo
I did a lot of nothing this weekend, besides mowing my lawn.
I went to kyles and we didn't do anything really amazing besides go to Wal-Mart and harass the workers, Freds and harass the workers, and CVS to harass the workers. We actually bought some food at taco johns, and it was good. Thats the most happening thing you can do on a small-town weekend.
Oh yeah, I finished the last book in the DUNE series this weekend, too. For any others who have read it, good job, and for those who havent, you oughta give it a shot!
peace out javan

Hey homeboys.
What be up? (jrasnake@graffiti.net)
Well, I'm at my house now instead of at the darned school. Its Sunday night about 9 o' clock and I am tired and am about to go to bed.
Well, I spent most of the entire weekend at Kyles' house and about six hours at Nicks' (spazyoung@hotmail.com) house. Like I said before, me and Kyle had been "remenising" about old memoreies. Well, this one was a doozie. This weekend (today, actually) I went to big springs (the villige stream, which is in a low, secluded place surounded by buildings but still in hearing distance from the uptown). There me and Kyle meet up with Nelson who was keeping his siblings. One of them that was wallowing in the creek found a read "stick" in the water. I saw this "stick" and Kyle picked it up. He can actually READ the directions and KNOW what they mean (unlike Nelson, me and Kyle are intelligent) so me and Kyle figured it out. It was a fancy emergency road flare. We followed the directions me hitting the end against something hard. Much to our supirse, and extremely large flame shot out of the end pointed directly at Kyle's face (he wasn't smart enough to know NOT to point the flaming end at his face). Well, naturally this scared the Holiness out of us so he threw it on the ground. Consequently, it burned a hole in the ground and while it was thus doing, we realized that the police would not appreciate this. Therefore, we freak out, and he grabs the flare and heaves it into big springs. Now, this was not a cheap flare, so instead of the flame going out upon hitting the water, it goes under and, much to our amazment, amusement, and eventually dismay, it boils all of the water in a 3-4 foot radius. This goes on four about five minutes while there are there teenagers (us) sitting there gawking at it. Borrowing that we look like there Juvinile Delinquents, this was not good. At just about the time we realize that we are probably felons and are about to run and hide, the boiling, hissing, and steam stops. At this we still think we are probably felons, but just realize that there are about 10-15 people staring at (conversely and alternately) at us and the formerly boiled water. Therefore, we make Nelson get in the water and retrieve the spent flare. Upon this we leave, and have more fun for the rest of the day.
TO BE CONTINUED BECAUSE I AM TIRED
Talk to my homies later, Javan

Today I am at school and way too lazy to post at home. Oh well, talked to Kyle about past memories of funny times and things that we did long ago that are utterly hilarious. The one time on the 4th of July when we went around shouting not nice things at people shooting fireworks, after going to a real "show". We were in town at his house watching the person next to him shoot off fireworks. The guy shooting shot off a real looker: must'tve been the "Fly Backwards and Decapitate You" special. It was really darn funny.
But that is of two other lives with hilarious memories from our years of friendship: and i may tell ou more later. now if you are interested you can e-mail me at jrasnake@graffiti.net and I might just e-mail you back an account of many of our "Funnier" memories.
Well, to put it gently, this week was not kind. I sprain my ankle, get sick from eating mad cow Mcdonalds food. So i go to my high school baseball game feeling sick as can be and having a subtle limp when running. But still i got a hit and two RBIs while running on a limped ankle and helping us lose 14-4 in 5 innings.
Right now I am listening to that nausiating mix of country-pop (that the radio stations like to call 'todays hottest country'", and my ears are about to rot off before the teacher will let me change the channel to some Skynyrd, Hatchet, and other assorted classic rock. Still listening to junk.
Oh well, I have work to do and this was a long post anyway.
